What are we reading: The sentinel

Front cover of the book, The Sentinel by Lee Childs

This week, Charlie reviews The Sentinel by Lee Childs. Find out more about our What we are reading series here.

“Brampton picked up the book in the charity shop. She knew people loved Jack Reacher thrillers but had never read one. Until now.

There is lots of action. And fights. And curious verb-less short sentences. Brampton had an inkling this would be fun.

Reacher regretted nothing. He seemed to have no IT skills but also knew what a supercomputer was. Curious.

There are Russian spies. And phishing and ransom attacks. And a surprising number of trips to the petrol station. But it’s all in all day’s work.”
